I…think I am done?

It feels weird to say that, but I think I’m done with the rough draft of book 3! WOOOOOOOHOOO!

This one was definitely the toughest to draft out of all 3 books. Right now it stands at 91,992. I expect it to grow in the next few weeks (especially if I add the sappy epilogue that I’m debating adding, because I love them – but still debating).

Hip hip hooray!

Oooh… now does that mean it has to be edited, proofread and then printed? If it’s finished, would you be starting book 4?

I’ve started rereading the 1st book again.

Trying to be patient for the next what is it?…. 12 months?

  2. Jill Myles says:

Hi Betty! Yep – it has to be edited a few times, proofed, copyedited, etc etc. :)

A little less than 12 months to go! And I need to discuss book 4 with my editor before charging ahead with it. :)

  3. Betty says:

By the way, would you be doing any book signing in New England? Maybe like Boston? Or maybe Nashua, Manchester or Concord, NH?

  4. Jill Myles says:

Not any time soon, but my job occasionally sends me to Nashua. If I do end up in NH again, I’ll post something on my journal. :)

  5. Betty says:

Oh Please……….!!!! I would love to have you sign my two books…. or three if it’s next year.

  6. Kim says:

I love the first two books and I can’t wait for three! I just love Remy she reminds me alot of my mother. I wanted to ask how many books do you have planned for the Succubus Diaries?

  7. Jill Myles says:

Hi Kim – I’m not entirely sure yet! Three for sure, I’m noodling with a plot for #4, and I have ideas for more if my editor wants them. I won’t leave storylines hanging endlessly, though – never fear! A lot gets resolved in the next book. :)
